What is a Net Loss Limit?
When you register a new account with us, we automatically apply a Net Loss Limit for your first 30 days.
A Net Loss Limit is designed to give you an added layer of financial protection when you start gambling.
It limits how much you can deposit overall based on your net position, calculated as:
Deposits – Withdrawals
This means:
Withdrawals increase your available capacity.
It’s different from a standard deposit limit, which only looks at the total amount deposited.
What limit applies to me?
Your limit is based on your age at the time you register
Age | Net Loss Limit | Duration |
18-24 | £500 | 30 days from registration |
25+ | £3000 | 30 days from registration |
The limit automatically expires 30 days after you register.
Example: How Net Loss is calculated
If your limit is £500:
You deposit £400 → You have £100 remaining
You withdraw £150 → Your available capacity increases
You can now deposit up to £250 more
This ensures your limit reflects your actual spend.
What happens after 30 days?
After 30 days of registration:
The automatic Net Loss Limit is removed
You can continue to manage your gambling using your own limits
We recommend setting up your own deposit limit if you'd like ongoing control over your spending.
Can I set my own limit?
Yes.
You can set a Deposit Limit at any time in your account.
If your personal limit is LOWER than your Net Loss Limit:
Your lower limit will apply immediately.
If your personal limit is HIGHER than the Net Loss Limit:
If you set a higher deposit limit on your account, it will not be applied as the LOWEST limit on an account will always be actioned.
If you wish to increase your Net Loss Limit please contact customer care.
I've returned from GAMSTOP - does this apply to me?
No.
If you are returning from GAMSTOP self-exclusion, a separate £200 monthly protective limit applies. The 30-day Net Loss Limit will not override this.
Where can I see my limit?
You can view your active limits at any time:
On the deposit screen
