Win big by picking the 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the correct order. The ultimate betting challenge. Available on all races with three or more runners

There are three ways to play the Trifecta; Straight, Banker and Combination.

  • With a Straight Trifecta you need to select the horses to finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd. This option will only cost you 1 x your line stake but your selections must finish in the correct order to get a return.

  • A Banker Trifecta is where you select the horse or horses you think will finish in each position and then choose as many as you want to fill the other places. A good example is if you strongly fancy a horse to win but want to “perm up” 2nd and 3rd with several different selections to cover multiple bases. The more horses you pick for each position the more your bet will cost.

  • A Combination Trifecta means you can pick three or more horses to finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd in any order. This is also referred to as a “full perm” (permutation) and whilst your chance of winning is increased, so is your total stake.
