Why Do Deposit Limit Changes Require a 24-Hour Waiting Period?

Many of our customers use Deposit Limits to manage their spending. These limits are designed to promote responsible financial management and prevent impulsive changes.

Limits can be set for a 24 hour, 7 day or 30 day period and cannot be overridden. The 24-hour waiting period encourages thoughtful decision-making and prevents impulsive changes that could lead to financial strain.

You can decrease your Deposit Limits at any time and this will be applied immediately.

Before increasing your Deposit Limits carefully consider if you can afford to do so.

Never decide to increase your limit because you have lost money and think that you will win it back by gambling more.

If you wish to increase a limit you will need to wait 24 hours before we action your request and then return to our site to confirm that you still want to increase it.

How to set up your Deposit Limits.


​Step 1: Log into your Tote Account and visit the Account Summary area

Step 2: Go to Responsible Gambling.

Step 3: Enter the Set Deposit Limit page.

Step 4:

  • Setting your deposit limit.

  • Set the deposit limit to your personal preference.

  • 24 hours before we action your request.

  • Confirm that you still want to increase it.

    If you encounter issues, remember that customer support agents cannot override the 24-hour waiting period or make changes on your behalf.
